Chemistry/Science Teacher - Permanent/Full-time position
St Patrick's Marist College is a comprehensive Coeducational Catholic school in the Marist tradition.

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- a strong knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum and programme development and experience in teaching Chemistry.
- a dynamic and passionate teacher who is able to meet the needs of all learners with a commitment to academic excellence.
- enhance social skills and nurture the growth of enterprise skills including critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration for each student.
- use digital technology as an enabler and accelerator for student learning and professional learning.
- regularly provide students with feedback as part of the teaching and learning cycle.
- know and apply NESA and Catholic Education, Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) requirements.
- use diagnostic data, summative data and formative data, including observations, annotations and work samples, to inform 'next steps' for students.
- see themselves as learners and be committed to ongoing professional learning.
- an ability to work in an effective, innovative, creative and collaborative team.
- creativity in the use of technology and the development of resources.
- highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate with teachers and leadership teams.
- classification or be in the process of obtaining classification with the Catholic Education Diocese Parramatta.
- a current Working With Children Check.
