๐ŸŒŸ SPMC Careers Expo 2026 โ€“ A Huge Success! ๐ŸŒŸ On Tuesday, we proudly hosted our inaugural SPMC Careers Expo, welcoming more than 40 exhibitors and providers who shared valuable insights, opportunities and advice with our students and families. Students from Years 10, 11 and 12, alongside many parents and carers, connected with universities, training organisations, employers, apprenticeship providers, emergency services, defence forces and representatives from a wide range of industries to explore future pathways and career possibilities. ๐ŸŽ“๐Ÿš’โš™๏ธโœˆ๏ธ We commend our students on their outstanding engagement, enthusiasm and exemplary behaviour throughout the day. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ“ฆ BIG THINGS ARE COMINGโ€ฆ Literally! ๐Ÿ‘€ Year 10 Visual Arts students are currently creating โ€œlarger than lifeโ€ cardboard sculptures, transforming small everyday objects into oversized works of art! โœจ Inspired by artists such as Claes Oldenburg, Ron Mueck, James Lake, and even their own art teacher Mrs Kellyโ€™s giant peg sculpture, students are exploring how scale can completely change the way we see and interact with ordinary objects.
