At St Patrick's Marist College, we believe parent partnership is key to a successful school experience for students.
We perceive education as a partnership between home and school with parents and teachers sharing a common vision which forms a powerful combination, and as such, we provide a number of ways for parents to get involved in the life of the college.
Whether you're attending parent information evenings, learning forums, interview evenings, volunteering for exam supervision, volunteering for the musical, completing surveys, helping at working bees or simply communicating with the college via our newsletters, website and Compass Parent Portal, you play a vital role in the education of your child.
Parents and Friends Association
On top of the many opportunities listed above, a" Parents & Friends Association" runs at the college, encouraging social interaction and improved communication.
The Parents and Friends Association meet once a term at 7.30pm in the Library to:
- provide support, information & involvement of parents/carers in students learning and the school community
- assist in fostering a Christian environment in the school
- develop collaboration between parents/carers and school staff
- ensure all parents and friends of our Marist community are welcome and encouraged to attend
We invite all our parents to get involved in the P&F and partner with us in making a difference in our Marist community. Please feel free to contact us pandfstpatsdundas@gmail.com.
