WE HELP EVERY STUDENT SHINE!

At St Patrick's Marist College, we believe it is important for students to pursue interests to find what they are passionate about. We give them exposure to a range of exciting opportunities to unlock their creative potential, develop a talent or follow a passion.

CREATIVE AND PERFORMING ARTS

We encourage our students to explore their passions and talents. We have a range of opportunities available for students to participate in creative and performing arts activities and programs such as music, drama and dance.

St Patrick's Marist students are able to join Clubs for Art, Choir/Glee and Design; participate in our College Concert Band; access music tuition; or even take part in a musical production.

COLLEGE SPORT

Sport is a valued part of the College's curriculum, contributing to the development of the whole child by providing opportunities for social, physical, emotional and moral learning. At St Patrick's Marist College we aim to promote good health and fitness, and to develop an understanding of the importance of lifelong physical activity. Students participate in an organised Sport program every Thursday afternoon.

Representative pathways are also available through the Parramatta Diocesan Secondary Schools Sports Council in sports such as: AFL, Athletics, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Cross Country, Golf, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer, and Swimming.

SOCIAL JUSTICE

Our students are offered a wide variety of local community and global activities to help develop a sense of pride, respect and responsibility for themselves and others. We have a student-led social justice group, 'Chance for Change'.

The College is a family-like community focused on quality learning and teaching experiences that nurture and challenge each student to become an informed, deep thinker who acts with the compassion of Jesus and the reflective heart of Mary in creating a more just world.

Excursions, Camps and Retreats

Every student loves to get out of the classroom and explore.

Our students benefit greatly from school trips where they are able to observe new things such as rare and exotic wildlife and plants, different cultures and the stories of our history. These experiences lead to deeper understanding of learning subjects.

Camps and retreats are also wonderful opportunities for students to develop independence, grow in faith, form strong friendships and make life-long memories!
